Roxas awoke from his slumber and looked around.He could feel Axel's arm wrapped around his abdomen as they both lay on the couch.Roxas drew in a shuddering breath as he slid out of Axel's grip and stood before him.He bent over and softly kissed Axel's soft cheek,and quietly stroked his raging-red hair.
A tear rolled down Roxas' face as he silently opened the living room window and crawled into the darkness.He ran as fast as he could,his shoes slamming against the sidewalk.Hot tears rolled down his face,streaming into his dirty-blonde locks.
Roxas was forbidden to love Axel.He knew that.It was Namine who he was supposed to love,just because she was Kairi's nobody,and Roxas was Sora's.
But that's not fucking fair! Roxas thought angrily.Why did he need to love Namine? He didn't care that he was 'supposed' to.But that was it;he was supposed to.
Roxas wiped the tears away from his eyes as he approached the window of a small house.He cautiously tapped it with his knuckles.He hoped it wasn't too late;he guessed it was about midnight.
A pale face appeared as the window slowly opened.Sandy-blonde hair flowed in the wind and a smile crossed the girl's face as she recognized the boy standing before her.
"Roxas!" she cried.She leaned out the window and wrapped her arms around his neck,pressing her lips against his.He grimaced and reluctantly kissed her back.Roxas may not have loved her,but he did care for her.And the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her.
"What are you doing out here so late?" she asked after she finally pulled away.Roxas ran his fingers through his hair and stumbled for words.
"I,uh--I...needed to see you." he replied clumsily. "I missed you."
His stomach lurched as the words left his mouth.The lie tied his insided in knots.
"Well why don't you come in?" she whispered as she grabbed his wrist and led him through the window.
"Sure."
Roxas followed her to her bed,but she spun around to look at him to quickly,causing him to stumble into her and send them tumbling on the pink sheets.
He scrunched up his face and groaned.He had hurt his ankle on the way down.
"Are you okay?" he asked,inches away from Namine's face.
She looked into his eyes and uttered a 'yes'.
Both of their heads turned as a sharp intake of breath was heard from the window.Roxas gasped as Axel's tear-stained face cowered through the open window.
"You weren't there when i woke up.I came looking for you." he whispered.More tears flowed from his eyes.
"Axel,it's not what it looks like!" Roxas cried as he pushed himself off of Namine.He ran towards the window,but Axel uttered a sob and ran from the blonde boy.
Roxas pushed himself through the indow and started after the red-haired blur.
"Roxas,come back!" Namine cried,but he ignored her.
He had finally caught up with him.He threw his hand out and caught ahole of Axel's writs,pulling him to a stop.
"Axel,listen to me!" he yelled,spinning him around and gripping him by the shoulders. "I tripped onto Namine.Nothing happened!"
Axel wiped his face and hiccuped.
"Why did you leave me? Why did you go to her house?"
Roxas sighed in frustration as he felt hot tears brimming his eyes.He let go of Axel's shoulders and looked at the ground.
"Because i had alot of things on my mind!" Roxas cried,knowing the tears were now flowing. "I love you,Axel! But i'm supposed to love Namine."
"Do you love her?" Axel whispered,afraid of the answer.
"No.I love you."
Axel smiled and took Roxas into his arms.Roxas left the tears fall on Axel's chest,finally free of his thoughts.
He could feel the late night's tolle slowly sending him to sleep.He reluctantly closed his eyes and went limp in Axel's arms.
Axel laughed and situated the snoozing Roxas on his back.
"I love you too,Roxas." Axel whispered as he started towards home.He wrapped his hand around Roxas',making sure as to not drop him.
"I hope you know."

“So this is what it feels like.” Axel murmured as he lay on the white marble floor. His red blood covered the floor as long as himself. He had just killed the monster that he had crossed paths with but it seems that, well, he wasn’t good enough.
“AXEL!” He heard a familiar voice scream. It wasn’t long before the youngest member of the organization was by his side.
“Axel, what the hell happened?” Roxas screamed. He then very carefully supported his friend up in his arms. All Axel could do was smile up at his lover. He protected him. He had stopped the monster from getting to his Roxas. Roxas was safe.

Roxas was riding his bike down the street towards home. He was turning 16 tomorrow , and he was excited. Roxas was somewhat pleased with what they were doing tomorrow, nothing stupid like a party. His mom and dad wouldn't be home until 6:30 so they were planning on taking him to dinner for his birthday.
While he was thinking he didn't notice the big gap in the sidewalk. His tires went straight into it and flipped him over.
"AUGH!" Roxas did a full flip off his bike and landed on his back, making his head smash against the concrete. Searing pain stabbed him. He gritted his teeth and sat up holding his head. Bad idea.
